Sarah Boileau grew up in B.C. Her first love was always drawing and painting and creation in general. During graduation she was chosen to receive a special award for her artistic abilities. After high school she moved to Alberta and began working in the highway construction business. For the last 5 years Sarah has worked half the year and then devoted the other half to oil painting. Self taught to begin with, she realized that the support network of being around other artists was essential. In 2007 she found Pro's Arts and hasn't looked back since. While many may think painting and construction don't seem to go together, she saw something else “Grace balanced by power”. This is depicted in her painting titled “The Cut” Some people carve statues, these machines carve the earth. It is an ongoing project of Sarah's to create a collection of paintings that can convey the beauty she sees in the everyday earthmover
