NANCY SORENSEN - BIOGRAPHY & ACHIEVEMENTS: Nancy Sorensen was born in Edmonton in 1958. She attended Brentwood College on Vancouver Island from 1974 – 76 and graduated from the U of A with a B.Ed in 1980. Nancy taught in the school system for 10 years before retiring to stay home with her 3 children. Living in Edmonton with her family, she presently works part time with her husband in their construction company. Having a life long interest in art & painting, Nancy joined the Pro’s Art School in 2002. During this time, she has attended many art workshops and traveled to New York to study several of the great masters’ works. Nancy enjoys bringing to life the rich colours of nature in her landscapes.
