LINDA CORBETT - BIOGRAPHY & ACHIEVEMENTS - Lives in Barrhead, Alberta, Canada (60 Kilometers North of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) Always interested in learning how to paint in oils, she joined a local art club in 2000. In 2002 she started classes at Pro's Art School, Studio, Gallery, learning how to paint the "Old Masters" style with teacher/instructor Gene Prokop.
Taking part in various workshops - still life, live models, color theory, composition, drawing, and being involved with like-minded Artists has enhanced her talents and she looks forward to the endless possibilities that are awaiting her. Trips with the school to Scottsdale AZ, New York City , exhibits in the Pro's Art School - Future Masters Art Show , local Galleries and Shows, Street Festivals and more have been great opportunities to learn and develop her art. Member of the Barrhead Art Club, Westlock Art Club, Evansburg Art Club, ACACA - Alberta Community Art Club Association Society, SWACA - Society of Western Canadian Artists
