EVELYN SKAKUN - ARTIST BIOGRAPHY & ACHIEVEMENTS - 

Evelyn has been painting since 2000.  She learned to paint at Pro's Art School under the able tutelage of Gene Prokop, the school's director and instructor.  She paints in oils using the techniques of the masters to create works that are naturalistic and realistic.

Formerly of Four Winds; of Oil Painters of Alberta; and of Studio Tu, Evelyn now shows at Pro's Art Gallery, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Evelyn grew up on a farm east of Edmonton; attended the University of Alberta and obtained a Bachelor of Education Degree; and worked in Edmonton for 32 Years.
