David Christle is a self – taught artist who was drawing from his earliest recollection. He graduated from Graphic Arts at RRCC in Winnipeg, Manitoba,Canada in 1989. Dave established a graphic arts company in this same year that specialized in airbrush illustration. He worked a number of years in the design department for a television station. Creating three dimensional sets and props for various television productions had influenced Dave to adopting sculpture as a primary focus. In 1998, he had his first major show. Dave’s sculptures are held in private collections across Canada and internationally. In 2005, Dave began to study the art of oil painting. The paintings he is currently creating is reflective of the old masters in techniques, composition and brushwork.
