Marilyn Fraser - Biography & Achievements - I was born & raised in Montreal, QC where I also met & married my husband Jim. We lived and worked in Montreal before moving to Sarnia, ON. Our home in Sarnia had a big tree we enjoyed throughout the year. Jim, my greatest inspiration, said I should be thinking about some post retirement activity. His words were "Think about painting, there is so much beauty around us, look at our tree for instance". Some years later Jim's work took us to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where we later retired. I met Gene Prokop and joined his art class, now his business is called Pro's Art Gallery & Framing. I love what I have learned and accomplished. I have taken Jim's advice and found that art is what I really do enjoy. I enjoy painting wildlife & scenic views. I also accept commissions.
