BIOGRAPHY FOR MARIE NEYS, CSE - Marie is a Designer, Artist & Teacher who enjoys creating landscapes, still life's and portraits. Marie often states that "it is important to follow your heart and have passion in your life". Many see romance in her work and have often said she captures “Mood”. She has expanded her art form to include a wide range of painting styles including Fine Art, Decorative Art, Bauernmaleria, Folk Art, and more. Marie currently studies and paints at Pro's Art School, Studio & Gallery, Edmonton. In 2006 Marie earned her Canadian Standards of Excellance in Decorative Art. She was the only one in Canada to be awarded this title.
