LAUREL HINZ - BIOGRAPHY & ACHIEVEMENTS - Before Laurel became a student at Pro’s Art School in 2004 she had very little exposure to art and no experience as an artist.. Up to this point, education, career and work had occupied most of her time. While raising two children with her husband Brad and working, Laurel knew that her creative outlets of piano, guitar and cooking were not enough for her. Laurel followed a deep down desire to try drawing and painting and was just fortunate enough to find Pro’s Art School. She was taken with painting from the first class and knew that this would be a permanent part of her life. . Gene Prokop’s exceptional instruction and encouragement took her quite quickly to a level she hadn’t expected. The supportive fellow students and their amazing works provide Laurel with motivation and inspiration. Laurel is committed to continue studying, finding new inspiration and enjoying the journey
