KIM MIDDLETON - BIOGRAPHY & ACHIEVEMENTS: I was encouraged by my parents at an early age to developed my painting and drawing skills, which stood me in good stead during my school years. I put away my brushes to enjoy marriage and a wonderful career. After early retirement I rekindled my passion for Art, and for several years taught mixed media and watercolour at two local studios and at home before discovering Pro's Art School, Edmonton, AB, Canada. I now study in the style of the Old Masters under the expert tutelage of Gene Prokop and my friend and mentor Ann Waeland. While still life and landscapes are a favourite I also enjoy painting pet portraits and flowers. I am happiest with brush in hand executing the first stroke on a new canvas.
