KAREN LORANGER - BIOGRAPHY & ACHIEVEMENTS: Throughout her life, Karen has expressed her creativity in many media. She is a talented seamstress, cook and home renovator, and even works with her hands, beautifying people’s teeth in her role as a dental hygienist. Over the years Karen has attended many workshops and fine art classes. Since she has been painting at Pro’s Art, she has gained the confidence and skill to become an accomplished oil artist. Karen’s subject matter focuses on portraiture and landscapes. Karen’s inspiration comes from her family life, especially her husband and two children. She enjoys capturing the defining images of her subjects, including memories of wonderful family experiences. Karen loves to paint commissions capturing the sitter’s likeness in beautiful lighting. Her work can be seen in homes in Toronto, Florida and California. Whether portraying a loved one, classic car or a favourite place, Karen’s painting will become a treasured heirloom.
