Janet Wolff

BIOGRAPHY & ACHIEVEMENTS-
As a young girl growing up in Wilkie, Saskatchewan, Janet often painted with her mother. This early experience led to a life-long passion for painting but it wasn't until her two children left home that she found some time to pursue that passion again.
In 2000, Janet started painting at Pro's Art School, Studio, Gallery under Gene Prokop's guidance. The acreage north of Edmonton where she and husband Tom have lived for many years provides inspiration for her paintings. "My paintings need to come from my heart," says Janet. "I have to feel my painting." Janet has travelled to a number of U.S. and European cities to study the masters. As well, she has participated in numerous workshops and in exhibitions with Pro's Art School.
These activities have given her an appreciation for all the incredible art there is learn from and contributed to the advancement and progression of her art. There is nothing Janet enjoys more than painting and she hopes one day to pursue it full time.
